Controversial Malaga owner Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani has called for an “international investigation” into his side’s Champions League quarter-final defeat against Borussia Dortmund back in 2013.
Thursday marked the seventh anniversary of the dramatic second leg, which saw Dortmund bag two late goals to progress to the semi-finals.
Jurgen Klopp’s side went on to reach the Wembley showpiece after toppling Real Madrid in the last four, only to suffer a gut-wrenching defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Bayern Munich in London.
