A major emergency service response was prompted after police were called to reports of a concern for the welfare of a women.
Police, paramedics and fire crews descended on Queens Park Road in Heywood at around 7pm last night (Thursday 3 August) after receiving calls from concerned members of the public.
A woman was subsequently taken to hospital where she is being supported by specialist services, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.
