'Magical' twilight trail and Christmas street food event returning to Manchester's Mayfield Park

The North's largest heated outdoor and indoor festival is set to return to Manchester this winter. Depot Mayfield based near Piccadilly Station will once again hosts its popular Winter Island event later this year.

The 'magical' experience will run from Thursday, 14 November until Christmas Eve on Tuesday, 24 December. Also back for this year, the Twilight Trail next door at Mayfield Park with a series of immersive winter light shows.

This year's festive event will also feature a number of new Christmas-themed attractions. This includes a Northern Lights Lounge installation situated on the mezzanine inside Freight Island, plus the Visit Santa Experience at the Grotto located at the Plant Room. Also joining the street food lineup will be Formaggi by Lazy Tony’s with their incredible loaded Roasties, Poutine, Italian-American Toasties, and deep-fried Mozzarella; and German BBQ by Smoking Coal serving the city’s finest bratwurst and more.
