Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana praised Marcus Rashford's character and resilience after his goal against Southampton.
United claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory against Southampton at St Mary's and Rashford was on the scoresheet, along with Matthijs de Ligt and Alejandro Garnacho.
Erik ten Hag stuck by Rashford on the south coast and that decision was vindicated. The Dutchman's decision to keep Rashford on the pitch and substitute Garnacho was booed by fans in defeat against Liverpool before the international break but his faith paid off this weekend.
Rashford did brilliantly to create a yard of space and find the bottom corner, which gave United a 2-0 lead at the break after an opening headed goal by De Ligt.
