Madonna has visited the grave of her late brother Christopher, sharing a deeply personal tribute after his passing earlier this month.Taking to Instagram, the 66 year old music legend posted solemn pictures from her visit with her daughter Lourdes Leon to Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, Michigan. The touching pilgrimage saw Madonna at Christopher Ciccone's final resting place—the artist and designer lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on October 4 at age 63.
Alongside the sombre images, Madonna uploaded a photo of the green marble headstone, etched with her brother’s name and dates, with the heartbreaking caption: "Homecoming.............".The 'Queen of Pop' also shared a moment where red roses were laid on the grave while Levon Henry serenaded them with Duke Ellington's "Single Petal of a Rose" on the saxophone.
Dressed in dark clothes and a headscarf, Madonna is seen kneeling by another gravesite—presumably that of her mother, Madonna Fortin Ciccone, who passed away when the singer was just five.
Lourdes, clad in black, was photographed holding flowers at her grandmother's gravestone, continuing the family's legacy of remembrance.
