Police investigating Madeleine McCann's disappearance have just 22 months to prosecute the prime suspect, the family's lawyer says.
Rogerio Alves claims Portugal's 15-year limit on prosecutions means there is less than two years left to take action against suspect Christian Brueckner.
German police believe Brueckner snatched Maddie while she was on holiday with her family in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007.
