A neighbour Wolfgang Kossack, 73, said Brueckner would often be seen with his girlfriend and stay in a Volkswagen Transporter van parked next to the site.Kossack said: "He never did any gardening or tried to grow anything.
He just sat around drinking beer."There have reportedly been no new tenants at the property since Brueckner disappeared, with one neighbour claiming the land had "been untouched since 2007".At the time, Brueckner told people he wanted to insulate a small shack.
