Emmerdale's Lydia Dingle is set for a blast from the past in the last show spoilers.The Dingle family have always struggled financially, but as the cost of living crisis continues to cripple the family, they are looking for any extra cash.

For several months, Lydia has been working at Home Farm for Kim Tate as a cleaner. She works many hours trying to keep the huge house clean, but due to her financial difficulties, Lydia is after more hours.

During Wednesday, 16 August's episode, Lydia asked Kim for more hours, but she was shot down, and her request was refused.The next day, Lydia announces that she is off to a recruitment fair as she hunts for another job.

Her husband, Sam, is unhappy at the situation, but Lydia heads to the event anyway. However, when she gets to the fair, which is being held at The Hide, she is left feeling awkward when Kim arrives.That isn't the only shock for Lydia as she also bumps into a mystery man from her past.The pair haven't seen each other since being in the children's home, but despite Lydia's shock, Craig is delighted to have bumped into Lydia.
