Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.Visitors flocking to beauty spots in Luss and Arrochar are being urged to park responsibly, after more than 80 penalty charge notices were issued last weekend.Argyll and Bute Council is calling on drivers to show more care when parking, with the majority of notices issued for parking in blue badge disabled spaces without a badge, coach spaces or outwith bays.Parking management will be in place to keep traffic flowing and to give as many people as possible the chance to use facilities – whether shops or countryside – safely.Inconsiderate parking has hindered the flow of traffic in both Luss and Arrochar, and problems are being caused in Luss by cars and campervans.
