Luke Littler, the 17-year-old darts sensation, has been managing his skyrocketing earnings wisely, with his most lavish purchase to date being a new bag.
The young prodigy outdid himself at Alexandra Palace last week, clinching his first Sid Waddell trophy in a 7-3 victory over Michael van Gerwen, just a year after his defeat to Luke Humphries.This win not only reaffirmed his status as the PDC's top player but also boosted his already impressive career earnings by £500,000, bringing his total prize money to around £1million - and that's not even counting his various endorsements and brand deals.
Despite this, Littler has remained modest with his spending reports the Mirror. After winning the Players Championship 20 title last September, he revealed that his biggest purchase had been a "I bought myself a nice bag".
Now, with his recent Ally Pally triumph propelling him to World No.2, Littler has set his sights on his first car.
