Love Island's Millie Court has shared a horrifying experience from her holiday in Australia. The 28-year-old reality star revealed she was stung by a jellyfish while enjoying a swim in the sea.
Despite warning signs on the beach cautioning about "beware of bluebottles", Millie admitted to ignoring them. She shared footage of the jellyfish and her resulting rash, recounting the terrifying moment: "Goes into sea to get taken out by a huge wave, come up above water to find a blue jellyfish wrapped round my neck, in my hair, tentacles all round my stomach.
I've never screamed so loud." Accepting responsibility for the incident, she said: "It's my own fault." She also shared advice given by lifeguards to treat the sting with a hot shower and ice.
Responding to potential criticism, she defended her decision to swim, saying: "And before you say 'why on earth would you go in the sea then', there are so many people in there that were also unfazed and the lifeguards don't tell you to not go in so we thought, 'f*** it, it'll be fine,'" reports the Mirror.
