Love Island star Jacques O’Neill’s mother says she received death threats whilst he appeared on the ITV2 show and was forced to move in with her sister.His mother Janet Wright, 60, who lives in Leeds, has revealed things took a turn for the worse during the infamous Casa Amor twist.Her 23-year-old rugby player son's head turned from partner Paige Thorne whilst she was away at Casa Amor as he decided to crack on with air hostess Cheyanne Kerr. Then it started to change. I started to get horrible private messages on Facebook, people were saying they wished my son and I were dead, it was awful.”She added: "I just didn't get why people have to message such nasty comments.

The messages really hurt, strangers were saying to me that I was a bad mother and a bad parent. It was awful, especially as I brought him up by myself."Jacques lives in Leeds with his mother and their dog, a French Bulldog called Zeu and during his time on the ITV Dating show, the mother was forced to seek refuge with other family due to the abuse she was receiving.She exclaimed: "I had to go and stay with my sister for a week and a half because of the abuse I got.

I was relieved when he finally left the villa as I couldn't watch it live.”Janet added: “I had to get my sister to text me every night to say if it was OK to watch.
