Love Island’s Mike Boateng is set to face a police misconduct investigation. The star, who rose to fame during the 2020 winter series of the show, served as a police officer for three years for Greater Manchester Police, before quitting to appear on the dating show.
A spokesperson said: ‘A Special Case Gross Misconduct Hearing will be held at Merseyside Police in relation to a GMP officer at 10am on Thursday 16 April 2020 and is scheduled to last for one hour. ‘The hearing will be held via video and audio link. ‘PC ‘A’ 16032 Michael Boateng will answer allegations that their conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Honesty and Integrity; and Discreditable Conduct contrary to the Police (Conduct)
