Love Island fans have made 1,600 complaints in the week since Faye Winter's cruel rant that mocked her fellow islanders. Figures released by the regulator yesterday (25 August) showed that in the week since the episode broadcast on 17 August, over 1,600 complaints were made "related to the behaviour of a contestant".

Faye, 26, showcased her skill at roasting - a form of comedy where someone is subject to jokes at their own expense - during the episode's talent show.

During her routine, Faye slammed Tyler Cruickshank, 26, for only going "exclusive" with Kaz Kamwi as she accused him of "playing the field" and also claimed Jake Cornish, 24, asking Liberty Poole to be his girlfriend was "for votes".
