Lorry smashes into home for disabled children as two trapped inside vehicle

On arrival, police and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service discovered two people trapped inside the vehicle.Stunning photos of the crash show the aftermath of the collision, which appears to have caved in the front of the property.Other pictures show the door to the lorry is now hanging off from its hinges, while the front bumper lays on the floor.Bricks from the wall around the property lay strewn on the floor and a wall at the front of the house has also been partially damaged.Firefighters can be seen staring at the truck, which has been left in place as an investigation is carried out.A cordon has now been put in place around the house and the residential street has been sealed off as structural engineers assess.
