Lorraine Kelly is everyone's favourite morning host bringing light and laughter to any subject, but when it came to a discussion on health struggles lately, she couldn't hide her concern.
Speaking exclusively to woman&home, she said: "As I get older, the only thing that’s a big worry is health and losing [myself], to dementia. "Obviously, my lovely Fiona [former GMTV host Fiona Phillips, 63] has been diagnosed with dementia.
She’s OK, she’s still here, still her. She’s so b****y strong and has dealt with it with dignity and humour." The 64 year old star admitted it really "brings it home when it's someone you know" and that she endeavours to do as much as she can to keep it at bay. "I do my Wordle and crosswords every day, and try to eat well, but it’s a horrible, cruel disease.
It can affect anyone." Lorraine, who speaks regularly to health experts on her show, is on the ball when it comes to putting her health first, as she admitted that everyone should "take responsibility" for themselves.
