A lonely man who bought two pet geese as company during lockdown has been ordered to get rid of them because of their constant honking.
Sven Kirby hand-reared the birds after buying them for £40 each in June. The geese, named Beep Beep and Norbert, now freely waddle around his house wearing nappies.
And are frequently seen spotted walking with their beloved owner around Leeds, West Yorkshire and even accompany him to the pub.
But now, 34-year-old Sven faces the heartbreaking prospect of having to let them go after receiving an abatement notice from his local council saying the birds are making too much noise.
