The social media star, who lost his only previous fight as a professional boxer, will take on the retired ring legend on February 20.
It was initially reported that Paul would earn £200,000 plus his percentage of pay-per-view sales while Mayweather would bank £10m.
But on Paul's YouTube podcast , his co-host Mike Majlak corrected those suggestions. "Who is reporting this news story?" he asked. "$200,000 to get in the ring with one of the greatest of all time?" Paul added: "Everyone wants to know about the money for this fight.
