Locked down pensioners are being virtually ‘reunited’ with their family after coronavirus led to visiting hours at a Scots care home being stopped.
Dalmellington Care Centre, in Ayr, is posting heart warming videos on social media so loved ones can see how their parents and grandparents are doing.
The quarantined elderly residents are also being taught how to use Skype and Facetime so they can stay connected with their families.It comes after the Covid-19 outbreak has made access to the outside world impossible over fears deadly germs will spread to high risk residents.Now determined staff are going above and beyond by regularly posting footage so residents don’t feel cut off and families don’t worry.One woman spent her 85th birthday
