Leicester fans smash Nottingham pub windows with tables and chairs before FA Cup clash
Leicester City supporters have smashed the windows of a pub in Nottingham ahead of their FA Cup fourth clash against Nottingham Forest today.Images began circulating on social media this afternoon showing thugs throwing chairs and tables towards the entrance of the pub, where some Forest fans had gathered for a pre-match drink.A video was captured inside the building, which had been barricaded shut for safety, showing the windows and doors being completely smashed to pieces. The pub in question, which isn't a designated 'fan pub', is in Nottingham city centre, roughly two miles from the City Ground. There is a significant police presence in the city due to the rivalry between the two sides, and it's understood that authorities have been contacted in an attempt to identify the hooligans responsible, though a number of their faces were covered up which could make it difficult."That's embarrassing from our fans," wrote one Leicester supporter on Twitter."Throwing chairs at a pub full of normal drinkers. Pathetic," posted another.A third said: "They don't represent us.
