Local lockdown restrictions are to be lifted in large parts of England following a reduction in coronavirus infection rates, the Government has confirmed.
On Friday Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced a range of changes to restrictions and confirmed which ones will remain in place.
It comes as the number of daily coronavirus infections continue to rise, as the UK's daily cases jumped by 1,940 the same day and Leeds was put on the official watchlist following a surge.
The last time daily infections were that high was at the end of May, when much stricter lockdown restrictions were still in place.
