Lloyds Banking Group has announced its plans to close down 45 branches including Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches. Overall, the group is closing down 22 Halifax branches, 19 Lloyds branches, and four Bank of Scotland branches.
The group highlighted that all affected branch staff will be offered other roles at a different branch or in a different part of the business whilw no compulsory redundancies are being planned.
