Lizzy Caplan, John Stamos, Lucy DeVito & Christine Ko Set Thriller Comedy ‘Drag’ With Jersey Films 2nd Avenue

EXCLUSIVE: Danny DeVito, Lucy DeVito, and Jake DeVito’s film and production company Jersey Films 2nd Avenue are rolling the cameras on the thriller comedy feature Drag which stars 2x Primetime Emmy nominee Lizzy Caplan (Fleishman is in Trouble, Zero Day), Lucy DeVito (A Sudden Case of Christmas, Little Demon), John Stamos (Big Shot, Scream Queens), and Christine Ko (Dave, The Handmaid’s Tale).

Raviv Ullman and Greg Yagolnitzer are writing and directing in what reps the pair’s feature film directorial debuts. Danny DeVito, Lucy DeVito, and Jake DeVito are producing.

In Drag, a routine robbery at a rural house turns into a nightmare for two amateur burglars when one of them throws their back out.

Things spiral out of control as they try to make it out before the homeowner returns. “As soon as we read Raviv & Greg’s script, we knew we wanted to make this film,” said the DeVitos. “It’s a physical comedy in the classic sense, as the story comes from the performances and the action of the film, but keeps you guessing from the title to the end.” Additional crew includes DP Ben Goodman, editor Malinda Zehner Guerra, production designer Neil Patel, and costumes designer Angel Peart.
