After last week’s Premier League title celebrations, Liverpool will be turning their focus to breaking more records this season.
The Reds could yet smash Manchester City ’s record-breaking 100-point tally from the 2017/18 Premier League season with the two sides meeting on Thursday night at the Etihad Stadium.
However, there will also be one eye on retaining the first ever Premier League title next season, and some action may be required in the transfer market to ensure that the Reds maintain their scintillating form from this season.
Having missed out on the signing of Timo Werner due to a lack of finances, Liverpool could look towards more creative means in getting deals on the line in this summer.
