Liverpool may have potentially played a blinder when it comes to keeping Barcelona target Georginio Wijnaldum. The Spanish outfit have recently appointed Dutch boss Ronald Koeman, who has a wealth of knowledge on fellow countryman Wijnaldum.Reports suggest Barcelona will try to snatch the Liverpool midfielder due to their change of manager, while the Reds attempt to tie their man to a new long-term deal.Wijnaldum is into the final year of his contract on Merseyside, meaning Koeman could poach him on a free next summer.However, should Barca make a move in the next few months, they will have pay at least £100m due to a clause which originated when the club signed former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.The Daily Mail report Liverpool inserted.
