Liverpool have been handed a double injury boost ahead of their trip to Manchester United next week. The Merseysiders travel to Old Trafford with both teams looking to awake from their early-season slumber.
Whilst United have lost to both Brighton and Brentford and sit bottom of the table, Liverpool have only fared marginally better after posting below-par draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace.
The latter result came amid a deepening injury crisis for Jurgen Klopp's side. That was exacerbated by the dismissal of club-record signing Darwin Nunez who received a red card, earning him a three-game suspension.
He will definitely miss the game against Erik ten Hag's side but Klopp has been afforded a boost by the news that two of his key players may be available.
