Liverpool could be set for a cash injection this summer thanks a clause included in the deal to sell for former player Luis Alberto by sporting director Michael Edwards.

Spanish playmaker Alberto proved to be a huge flop at Anfield, making just nine Premier League appearances in the three years he was contracted to the club.
