The 33-year-old has not released an album since 2005, but she is going back to her musical roots. The video on her Instagram showed a montage of news and social media clips of and about Lindsay, on fuzzy TV screens.
It documented her rise to fame and crashing fall as she was embroiled in drug scandals and exhibited bizarre behaviour. The video concluded with Lindsay saying the words "I'm back", and it is now the only post on her Instagram, where she has 8.2million followers.
