Lindsay Lohan on Her New Super Bowl Commercial and Jumping Back Into Acting
glamour.comVogue caught up with the star to discuss her slate of upcoming projects (did you know she’s launching ?), what she’s missed about acting and set life, and what she might be wearing on her upcoming wedding day. (She recently to boyfriend Bader Shammas, in case you didn’t know—we can practically hear the wedding bells!) Read the conversation below:Vogue: Your Super Bowl commercial is with Planet Fitness.
Are you a big gym person?Lindsay Lohan: Exercise is a big part of my life now—it wasn’t as much before—and Planet Fitness is an inclusive environment.
It’s a safe, fun space to work out in, which I really liked about them. When it came to the commercial, they were very open to me being very involved and hands-on with how we did it, and poking fun at myself.I do love that you’re playful, with the DUI and paparazzi references.It was an opportunity for me to really put all the little things that happened in the past to bed, and it was a really light-hearted, fun way of doing it.
I’m comfortable in my own skin: I’ve evolved spiritually, mentally, physically. I’m comfortable poking fun at the past and leaving it there.
