deadline.comLindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis stepped out onto the Caesars Palace Colosseum stage this afternoon to kick off Disney’s CinemaCon presentation and introduce the first footage for Freakier Friday.
The sequel to their 2003 body-swap comedy has an August 8 domestic release scheduled. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis.
Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
Lohan enthused today that it was “amazing to be back in Anna and Tess’ shoes,” even though they spend more time in more shoes.
