While Ireland’s Eurovision glory has for many years now faded into musical obscurity the annual song-fest is still an annual tradition as the nation watches in various states of musical highs, lows, wonderful and of course wacky.
But with this year’s competition scrapped Eurovision legend Linda Martin says that there is an opportunity to relive Ireland’s glory days.
Linda Martin, who won Eurovision in 1992 with the song Why Me?, suggested that RTÉ could mark the song contest by broadcasting a Reeling in the Eurovision Years style show.
