Liam Payne's close pal, Rogelio 'Roger' Nores, has reportedly refused to answer questions from a judge investigating the singer's tragic death, becoming the third suspect to be summoned for questioning.

Braian Nahuel Paiz and Ezequiel David Pereyra, a former employee at the Buenos Aires hotel where Liam tragically lost his life, have stated they are "retaining their right to remain silent" during their Zoom quiz on Tuesday with Laura Bruniard.

According to respected Argentinian news portal Infobae, citing sources close to the investigation, businessman Mr Nores, who has denied allegations he abandoned his friend before he fell from his third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, also declined to testify yesterday.

His defence lawyer informed the judge that a written statement would be submitted to the court in the coming days, although no further details were provided.
