A man accused of supplying drugs to One Direction star Liam Payne before his untimely death has been arrested. Braian Nahuel Paiz was ordered by a judge to be remanded in prison after being charged with providing the singer with narcotics just a week prior.

Judge Laura Bruniard had given him 24 hours to turn himself in for incarceration, but reports suggest that the arrest didn't occur until police visited his home on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. "His arrest was ordered by the judge on Friday and he is now in custody.

I'm trying to get further details as we speak," confirmed Mr Paiz's lawyer Fernando Madeo, according to MailOnline. Paiz was one of five men charged last Friday by a Buenos Aires judge following Liam's tragic passing on October 16 at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Liam's friend Rogelio 'Roger' Nores, who admits to leaving the singer at the hotel hours before his death but denies responsibility for what happened, has reportedly been charged with negligent homicide.
