Liam Payne's family are said to be 'devastated' following the death of the One Direction star aged just 31. The singer tragically died after falling from the third-floor balcony into a courtyard of a hotel in Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Local police said officers initially responded on Wednesday to reports 'of an aggressive man who may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol' at the Casa Sur Hotel in the Palermo neighbourhood.
Liam sadly died due to multiple injuries including a skull fracture after the fall, it has been confirmed. Medics could not save him and he was 'instantly' pronounced dead. Speaking from the house, located in Codsall, the family member told journalists: "We're obviously devastated at the news but we don't want to comment." Liam's parents Geoff and Karen reportedly left their family home in the middle of the night after learning the horrific news.
