The Argentinian prosecutor’s office later shared that his cause of death was due to multiple traumas and internal and external bleeding.Later that month, preliminary toxicology tests revealed the musician had pink cocaine and several other substances in his system at the time of his fatal balcony fall.Now, two months on, two workers at the Buenos Aires hotel have been charged by police.According to new documents published by Rolling Stone, the judge in charge of the case is looking into charges against two members of staff from the CasaSur Palermo hotel.

As outlined in a filing yesterday (December 9), the judge lists the manager and the receptionist head who called the police to the scene as “people charged in the case”.At time of writing, it is not clear what they are being charged for, although the document does ask that the two be informed of their accusation.

According to the outlet, the documents read: “Since there is sufficient reason to suspect that they have participated in the investigated act, we ask that the following people give a statement.”They are two of several people connected to the case who are being called upon to face the courts regarding Payne’s death.
