Five people have been charged in connection with the tragic death of pop star Liam Payne. Among them is his close friend, Roger Nores, alongside several staff members from the CasaSur Palermo hotel.
Argentinian news outlet Infobae reports that two of the accused are currently being held in custody.Roger, who claims he left the hotel approximately an hour before the One Direction musician's fatal fall, faces charges of negligent homicide and is reportedly under a country-exit ban.
Liam Payne passed away at the age of 31 on October 16, after a harrowing plunge from the third-floor balcony of a Buenos Aires hotel.
Findings from a post-mortem examination attributed his demise to multiple injuries and both "internal and external haemorrhage".
