Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne were part of the Manchester City squad that trained ahead of the Premier League game with Arsenal.
De Bruyne has missed the last two games with a shoulder problem picked up in the closing stages of the Carabao Cup final win over Aston Villa, where he was a late substitute.
His absence from the midfield was keenly felt in the Manchester derby defeat, with Pep Guardiola lamenting the lack of spark in the final third with Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan in those positions.
Sane has not featured for City since suffering cruciate ligament damage in his knee in the Community Shield victory over Liverpool in August.
