‘Legally Blonde’ Prequel Series Drops First Image Of Lexi Minetree As Elle Woods
deadline.comIn the photo above, Lexi Minetree is making her official debut as Elle Woods in the Legally Blonde prequel Elle as Prime Video begins production on the original series.
You can tell they’ve gone back in time as the teen uses her clear phone to speak to her friends on a landline, as many did in the 90s.
And in true Elle Woods fashion, she’s wearing a pink hoodie and surrounded by her pink bedding. From creator Laura Kittrell, the series follows the titular high school student as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman in the first Legally Blonde film.
The series also stars June Diane Raphael as Elle’s mom, Eva; Tom Everett Scott as Elle’s dad, Wyatt; Gabrielle Policano as Liz, who is described as the anti-Elle Woods; Jacob Moskovitz as Miles, the school’s star athlete who is charmed by Elle; and Chandler Kinney as Kimberly, a sharp-tongued senior who is not a fan of Elle.
