dailystar.co.ukLeeds United have expressed an interest in signing Stuttgart striker Nicolas Gonzalez. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are willing to spend after winning the Championship last season as they try to cement their place as a Premier League team having spent 16 campaigns outside of the top flight.
Gonzalez scored 14 goals across 16 appearances in the German second tier during 2019/20, and is likely to be aware of Bielsa’s work thanks to his Argentinian roots.The promising forward has made three appearances for the full national team, and has previously been linked to the likes of Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Inter Milan.The Guardian report that both Leeds and Brighton have expressed an interest in the player, who is expected to cost around £15m.
