Lauren Laverne's heartfelt message to fans as she returns to The One Show

Lauren Laverne made a triumphant return to The One Show on Tuesday evening, following her successful treatment for cancer. After announcing her diagnosis to her followers three months ago, the popular broadcaster was back on the couch with co-host Alex Jones, just days after sharing the joyful news of her "all clear" status.

Welsh presenter Alex opened the show with a warm welcome: "I'm delighted to say that Lauren is back by my side. Miss Lauren, we have missed you so much.

You look brilliant, how are you feeling?" To which Lauren responded: "I feel great you know, I'm really, really pleased to be back.

It's lovely to be back on the iconic sofa instead of watching at home on mine and largely I feel good because I've had so many wonderful messages from viewers." She added: "I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who's been in touch especially to people who've been through cancer treatment themselves.
