Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice are expected to hit the UK far earlier than expected, with the Met Office issuing yellow and amber weather warnings.The two storms are set to hit parts of Scotland, much of the North and parts of the Midlands, with warnings for strong winds in force tomorrow evening.Cities including Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne and York have been hit with amber warnings which present a potential "risk to life" for those caught in its path.The Met Office has said the amber warning will last from 4pm on Wednesday, February 16 to midnight the same day.Yellow warnings for a wider area is in place from 3pm on Wednesday to 9pm on Friday, with warnings of strong winds and delays to travel.Power cuts are are possibility in the yellow warning region, as well as fallen trees and damage to buildings.The Met Office warning states: "Storm Dudley to bring a spell of very strong winds and a risk of disruption later Wednesday and into the small hours of Thursday."The same statement was released for Thursday.
