Lanarkshire woman held in prison after bottling her mate during drinking session

A woman is in custody after she battered her pal with a bottle during an all-night drinking session.Skye Leggat, 24, of Mackenzie Terrace, Bellshill, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.She admitted assaulting Chelsea Chambers at the victim's home in Omoa Road, Cleland, on January 22, 2021.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

When officers attended Leggat became extremely irate, shouting and swearing."She said she had punched her friend because she had 'set her up'.

Leggat also said she had been assaulted first."Ms Chambers was taken to hospital with cuts, bruising and swelling to her face.However, she was sent away and asked to
