Lanarkshire MP Angela Crawley says she is "disappointed" by the response of the UK Government to a cross-party letter supporting her paid miscarriage leave bill.
The move to introduce the leave allowance before 24 weeks of pregnancy was rejected at Westminster earlier this month, despite now 36,000 people signing a petition to put it in place.
The Lanark and Hamilton East MP's Private Members bill also galvanised cross-party support and an open letter was written to the UK Government, proposing for the matter to be discussed round the table.
