Sophie Winkleman has revealed that she has pulled her young children out of two different schools - including Prince George and Princess Charlotte's former school - after they were going to be given iPads to use during lesson time.
Lady Frederick Windsor - as she is officially known - has been married to Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's son, Lord Frederick Windsor, since 2009 and the pair share two daughters, Maud and Isabella.The actress - who has had roles in shows such as Two and a Half Men, Peep Show, Death in Paradise and This is Going to Hurt - objected to children being given iPads from the age of six and "immediately started looking for different schools".
Sophie revealed how she took daughters, Maud, 9, and Isabella, 7, out of £20,000-a-year Thomas's Battersea - the school which their royal cousins, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, had previously attended until they moved to Lambrook School in September last year.
She said that pupils at schools attended by her children "were going to be given tablets, all of them from Year One [aged 5/6] to Year 6 [aged 10/11]...
