As young Prince Louis turns five years old today, a royal expert said he will be spending time with his family and they'll all be "mucking in" on the celebrations and playing "party games".The Prince and Princess of Wales have often been known to celebrate their children's birthdays, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in rather conventional ways, as many other families would. They have been known to spend time together, either at home or away in Norfolk during a beach trip and with Kate's family having owned Party Pieces for years, they won't be short on decorations.
Historian, writer and broadcaster Tessa Dunlop spoke exclusively to OK! and shared further details about what the cheeky prince and his family might be getting up to today to celebrate the special occasion.
Tessa said: "It’s always about spending time together, she’s (Kate) quite conventional in an old-fashioned sense of the word, I don’t think she’ll shy away from the fact she comes from a conventional family. “She likes the family idea, they’ll be mucking in and mucking about and party crackers and party games. “She doesn’t lend out easily to the celeb world, she’s a more conventional, posh girl really." Adding that Kate is a "really conventional mum".
The royal expert added: “It’s on St Georges's day, so that’s an occasion anyway for Louis".Talking further about the Princess of Wales and what she's like when it comes to her children's birthdays Tessa said: “Kate is really old school, hands-on, picnics, days on the beach kind of mum, they'll be no doubt lots of balloons - the birthday accessories will be there.
