A brush fire broke out on the east side of the Sepulveda Pass near Bel-Air at about 11 p.m. Wednesday night. The blaze spread to 20 acres and prompted an evacuation warning before firefighters got the upper hand on it.

Firefighting aircraft were drawing water from the nearby Stone Canyon Reservoir. The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the closure of the Getty Center Drive off-ramps of the northbound and southbound 405 Freeway due to the Sepulveda Fire.
