Kyogo Furuhashi has told Celtic fans that he wants to stay at Parkhead for as long as he can. The Japanese striker who will be crowned SFWA Player of the Year to add to his PFA Scotland award on Sunday night.
Kyogo has hit 33 goals this season and helped take Celtic to the brink of a Treble. The 28-year-old still has two years left on his current Hoops contract but is bound to attract attention from potential suitors this summer.However, Kyogo insists he’s happy in Glasgow and has no plans to leave.
Asked if he’d like to stay at Celtic beyond 2025, the former Vissel Kobe frontman was quick to assure the Hoops support. He said: “Definitely.
All the players here want to stay at Celtic for as long as they can and I’m one of them. At the same time, I cannot think too much about the future right now.
