The CEO of Kylie Jenner’s makeup company Kylie Cosmetics has stepped down ‘for personal reasons’. Beauty company Coty – which partnered up with the 22-year-old earlier this year in a $600million (£485m) partnership – shared that Christoph Honnefelder left his role weeks before he was due to officially start in the position.
He was announced as the new CEO of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin back in January, saying he would begin ‘in the near future’, with Kylie adding in a statement that she was ‘excited’ to welcome him on board.
In a statement shared with Metro.co.uk, Coty said President of Luxury Brands Simona Cattaneo will take over from Honnefelder in the role to continue ‘building a strong foundation to support our strategic partnership
