Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Met Gala 2022 Look is Nod to a True American Classic

The 25-year-old actor wore a buttondown shirt, “jeans”, boots and gloves from Bottega Veneta, which are all surprisingly made out of leather.
He accessorized with Cartier jewelry, tying in the Gilded Glamour theme. “Many people don’t know this but the Gilded Age is when the blue jeans were invented,” Kodi shared. “My look is a celebration of the casual Friday look in America and the diversity of people and cultures that contributed to make America.” He added, “And of course my look is a tribute to classic Americana and the American flag, tying in the red, white and blue color theme.
