There's been a lot of water under the bridge since Meghan and Harry's fairytale wedding was watched by millions as the couple tied the knot back in 2018.It seems a lifetime ago for many royal fans, following the Duke and Duchess' subsequent decision to step away from the Royal Family and official duties, as they pair headed off for a new life in California in 2020, where they remain with kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
But in the years following Harry and Meghan's wedding, many events are alleged to have taken place in the run-up to the big day.
According to reports, it wasn't all plain sailing with claims of blazing family rows, reports that the late Queen summoned Prince Harry for a dressing down or Meghan's dissatisfaction at many of the proposed plans, as we previously reported.Just days before the wedding, it was announced that Meghan's dad Thomas Markle could no longer fly to the UK due to his health, so King Charles kindly offered to step in and walk his daughter-in-law down the aisle.
However, he was ultimately left surprised by her response which offered a glimpse of what was to come.On May 19, 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor, the pair became The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, The Earl and Countess of Dumbarton and The Baron and Baroness Kilkeel.
